Sophie Fouron has been working in communications for over 20 years. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in communications, she started her career as a head of content and producer for several cultural and public affairs programs. Charismatic and brilliant, she naturally stepped in front of the camera in 2010, and it was during her world travels that she particularly stood out. As the host (in both French and English) of the shows Ports d’attache and Chacun son île, she travels to every corner of the globe, always prioritizing the human adventure. In 2020, she once again captivated the audience and critics with Tenir Salon, a concept of her own creation developed for TV5, where she meets with Quebec's cultural communities, one haircut at a time! These days, she hosts the special program Tracer la voie on Ici Première, co-hosts the cultural magazine Retour vers la Culture on ARTV/RC, and leads the lively TV5 show La vie est un Carnaval. She is the recipient of the TV Host of the Year award at the 2024 Dynastie Gala.
