Sophie Fouron has been working in communications for over 20 years. After completing a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's in communications, she worked as a researcher and producer on a number of cultural and public affairs programs.

Charismatic and brilliant, she naturally stepped in front of the camera in 2010, and it was on her world tour that she particularly stood out. Host (in French and English) of the programs Ports d'attache and Chacun son île, she criss-crosses the four corners of the planet, always prioritizing human adventure. In 2020, she once again seduces audiences and critics with Tenir Salon, a concept of her own developed for TV5, where she sets out to meet Quebec's cultural communities, one haircut at a time! Then, in 2023, TV5 entrusted her with the helm of their big party show: La vie est un Carnaval. She also had great fun hosting the special Tracer la voie on Ici Première in 2024.

These days, she meets strangers in the street with Chassés-croisés on TV5. Conceived by her and her loyal collaborators Catherine Bureau and Maude-Éthier Boutet, this unusual program arouses a great deal of enthusiasm and curiosity. She also co-hosts the cultural magazine Retour vers la Culture on ARTV/RC and won the TV Host of the Year award at the Dynastie 2024 gala.
