Anne-Marie Withenshaw
- Radio and television host
- Producer
Anne-Marie Withenshaw has been a bilingual Canadian radio and TV mainstay since 1998. On television, the 15-time Gemeaux and two-time Canadian Screen Award nominee hosts daily on WKND 99.5 FM. On the small screen, she’s been holding court of ICI ARTV's flagship show C'est juste de la TV for an impressive 15 seasons.
After a meteoric rise to a VJ spot on MusiquePlus early in her career, Anne-Marie went on to travel the globe with Flash — famous yellow mic in hand — where she covered international film fests and galas. She kicked off the second decade of her TV career hosting Nos Canadiens (TSN/NHL network USA). Anne-Marie’s visited some 300 restaurants over six seasons of Guide Resto Voir (Évasion), hosted Pressure Cooker on W Network and FYI USA, and co-hosted TVA’s cooking competitions À Couteaux tirés and l’Atelier Culinaire alongside chef Chuck Hughes. She’s also been the bilingual face of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Canada Day in the Capital celebrations— four times over, actually. In 2024, she received the Gémeaux award for Best Animation in the Cultural Magazine category for the television show C'est juste de la TV.
Behind the camera, the founder of Killer Queen Productions co-produces chef Chuck Hughes’ show Chuck's Day Off, which airs in nearly 50 countries around the world. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters honoured Anne-Marie with the Bronze Ribbon Award for Excellence in Cable Broadcasting.
